A Little Announcement from the Stillroom

Sometimes the best ideas arrive while you're putting herbs away.
As I was organizing my stillroom, I found myself remembering all the times I only needed a teaspoon of an herb for a new recipe, an incense blend, or a protection jar...
...only to discover the smallest amount I could buy was a whole pound.
If the blend turned out beautifully, wonderful.
But if it didn't?
Well, now I owned a lifetime supply of Cat's Claw.
It occurred to me that I probably wasn't the only one with that problem.
So, in the spirit of making herbal crafting a little easier (and a lot less expensive), I'm happy to share that I'll be adding a selection of herbs in approximately ¼-ounce packages to the shop this week.
They're perfect for experimenting, learning, creating spell jars, dressing the outside of candle jars, making incense blends, decorating seasonal displays, and so many other creative projects without committing to a large quantity.
A Quick Note About Safety
Unless specifically noted otherwise, these herbs are offered for crafting and spiritual purposes only and are not intended for human consumption.
I also want to share something I feel strongly about. Dried herbs and flowers are beautiful on candles—but they're also flammable. While many people roll candles in herbs or embed botanicals into wax, I choose not to. I prefer decorating the outside of glass candle jars or using herbs around candles rather than in the flame itself.
Granny-ism
Pretty is nice. Fire safety is prettier.
I'd rather your candle bring peace to your home than bring the fire department.
For me, creating beautiful things also means creating them safely. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I can't wait to share these little packets with you and see what beautiful things you create.
