A Little Bit of Handmade Magic from Across the Sea

Sometimes the most meaningful pieces that enter a home are not the ones we planned for.
A dear friend in the UK recently sent these beautiful handmade wool ladies, along with a kitchen witch that immediately found her place in my home. The craftsmanship is breathtaking — tiny books, dried florals, soft wool gowns in herbal greens and lavenders, and the kind of quiet detail that makes you pause and smile.

Each one feels less like décor and more like a story. The moment I unwrapped them, I knew they had found their forever home here with Granny Goodwitch.
They now stand watch over the hearth, the pantry, and my worktable while I blend herbal bath teas, pour candles and wax melts, and sketch out new ideas for the shop. They have become part of the spirit of this space — a reminder that home should feel layered, warm, and lovingly lived in.

These are the kinds of pieces that inspire everything I create: comfort, hearth, heritage, and a little everyday magic.
If you would love one of your own, please visit my friend’s beautiful shop:
Her work is handmade in Cornwall and truly something special.
Here are my two most favorite, my Kitchen Witch and the one that is named Louise, just like my original Granny Goodwitch.

From my hearth to yours, may you always find beauty and magic in every bloom, every blessing, and in the everyday moments of home.
